John Hamer | A WTF MEDIA® Original Production

What if the history of nuclear weapons, the Cold War and the politics of fear deserves closer scrutiny?

In this controversial presentation, British author and independent researcher John Hamer challenges conventional accounts of nuclear weapons, the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, and the role of fear in shaping public perceptions of global conflict.

Drawing upon historical quotations, wartime accounts, photographs, military reports and his own interpretations of scientific evidence, Hamer presents his argument that the established narrative surrounding nuclear weapons is fundamentally misleading.

His central contention is that nuclear weapons are a fabrication used to influence international politics, justify military expenditure and maintain public anxiety about global security.

These assertions represent Hamer’s personal views and are not supported by the established scientific and historical evidence demonstrating the existence and destructive effects of nuclear weapons.

The presentation provides an opportunity to hear his arguments in full and assess the reasoning, sources and interpretations on which they are based.

IMPORTANT SCIENTIFIC CONTEXT

Nuclear weapons are real, and their existence, testing and destructive effects are supported by extensive scientific measurements, historical documentation and physical evidence.

The atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki caused catastrophic destruction and loss of life. The effects of ionising radiation, including radiation sickness, increased cancer risk and potentially fatal injury, are well established.

Claims that nuclear weapons do not exist, that the atomic bombings were fabricated or that ionising radiation is harmless are inconsistent with established scientific evidence.

Viewers are encouraged to critically evaluate the arguments presented and consult credible scientific, historical and independent research sources.
